In certain cases, Stevens-Johnson syndrome can also be triggered by physical stimuli such as radiaoterapi and ultraviolet light.
Treatment First aid to overcome the allergy drug in Stevens-Johnson Syndrome is to stop taking drugs that trigger allergies. Next is to give allergy medications (antihistamines) to relieve symptoms, or corticosteroids if symptoms are severe enough.
Adjunctive therapy given at the hospital include rehydration or replacement of lost body fluids by using the infusion. If injury occurs, the layer of dead skin must be cleaned and then covered with a bandage wound to avoid infection.
